Riding Lessons

Timetabled Lessons

All lessons at Greenacres Equestrian are supervised by BHS and ABRS qualified instructors. We teach all ages upwards from three years old.

Our standard riding timetable teaches the following core riding skills:

  • Walking
  • Trotting
  • Cantering
  • Jumping
  • Hacking

Greenacres usually has up to 40 genuine and straightforward horses and ponies of all standards to suit the needs of every rider from the novice to the advanced.

Lessons are split between children (up to aged 16) and adults, although special lessons are available including hacks for families, hen days etc.

You will be placed in the right group for your ability and will then progress through the classes as your riding skills develop.

We also offer private lessons on our horses or you can bring your own.

Bespoke Lessons

Large group Dressage and Show Jumping lessons are available by arrangement, either through hotels or other agents. Pony parties are also available for groups of up to 10 children aged 3+.

We are normally open for lessons or rides throughout the year, mid week days, evenings and weekends.
