Produced by Pennie Cornish, this great stallion is well known throughout Europe. Ridden by Robert Smith, he won the Aon 6 year old and Foxhunter Final in the same year at HOYS. He was the only British horse to compete in the World Cup Final in Las Vagas, as a 9 year old. Throughout his career he competed in numerous Nations Cups and travelled extensively throughout the world with Robert, winning consistently until his retirement to stud. Marius Claudius was brought over from Holland as a three year old. He was acquired by Di and Pennie Cornish at Greenacres Equestrian where he was broken in and produced by Pennie Cornish up to Foxhunter level. When Pennie realised the horses's genuine International potential, she offered the ride of the six year old to the Internationally acclaimed rider Robert Smith. Within months the new combination of Marius Claudius and Robert Smith won the Foxhunter final at Wembley. They went on to International acclaim and won numerous Grand Prix's and competed in many Nations Cups.
